  In what KM or literature were JW's told to not put the WT logo on podium or buildings?

  in the 80's it became a trend to put the wt logo on the front of the speakers podium where others put a cross.

  i always hated that and spoke against it to the body of elders.

  i shut up and it was put there anyway untill a km came down that said not to do it.

  Saw Paul McCartney at Candlestick in San Fran

  saw the paul mccartney concert last week and it was amazing.

  almost 3 hours of non stop music, a mixture of beatles, wings & newer music.

  i was smart & planned ahead-- drove to san francisco in the morning to mess around the city & checked into a hotel 6 miles away, got to the concert over 2 hours early.. anyone else attend?.

  Very smart. I couldn't afford to go but would have given anything to be there. Only smart people like you succeded. Many ended up in the traffic and never got in even though I heard that it started an hour late to give more people time to get in. Congrats! Many Youtube videos are online from the concert. Kinda envy you!

I shut up and it was put there anyway untill a KM came down that said not to do it. They did it at the local assembly hall as well. The coprorate watchtower logo had no place on the platform or the speakers podium. This info could be useful in exposing all the JW.Org worship for what it is. Anyone know when and where that was? Maybe it was an elders letter? I think it was a KM though. Thank you in advance if you know where its at. Anyone remember that edict?

  i think everyone here can agree that walking down the street, even in the middle of the street, is not cause for having a clip emptied in your ass......... i can understand how the black community would be outraged by the injustice of seeing another black man dead in the street at the hands of the police under mysterious circumstances....... i hope that i'm not succumbing to the attempts to assinate the already well impuned character of the dead man...... however.

  i can't help but think that this could all have been avoided by exercising the proper discretion with fore-knowledge of the disadvantages people of color have when they are dealing with law enforcement in the united states.

  it is not as if this disadvantage has only since recently came to light.

  If you have gotten this far on this thread, congrats. It came out today that the person walking with the giant who was shot dead and the one who had stirred up all the controversy with his "the cop shot him while he was surrendering" has an outstanding warrant for filing a false police report on a previous occasson. Hmmmm, seems as if it all comes out eventually. People love to jump to conclusions. Has to be racist.

  Did you hear about the woman killed with a "starter" pistol?

  What did you do with old WT/Awake magazines?

  when you were a witness, what did you do with your old watchtower (public/ study versions) and awake magazines?

  i know for some throwing away a magazine is comparable to burning a quran.

  i never threw them out!

  i have proof the elder molested two victims, can i make brochures and blanket his home and neighbors with his confession?

  he lives in a mexican area (gang bangers who hate chomos) with a high amount of hispanic families, will this help expose him?

  the elders have warned me to keep my mouth shut about his pedophila but this pedophile keeps hanging around his victims and think's because he was saved by the statue of limitations, he's home free.

  If you want legal action against you for outing him in a print campaign go ahead. I assume there was no conviction or legal establishment of his guilt. If not then you are treading on some very shaky ground legally. I would warm the victims to keep thier distance and confidentially warn others who would appreciate it. Mothers talk ya know. Let them know the elders threatened you so they know how protected they really are and ask them to hold your name in confidence. Of course if the victiims dont want their identitys known keep thier confidence!

  in my 20 years of being in this cult i was always struck at how alot of ones in my immediate hall never really talked to me or tried to get to know me.

  i know it is a two way street & i always tried to rbe nice & polite to everyone.

  i am shy person but i went beyond what i was comfortable with in trying to be likeable!.
